We love that parents are excited to watch their child dance and share in their progress. Our studios are fitted with viewing windows so you can peek in and see the magic happen. At times, these windows may be covered to help minimize distractions and keep dancers focused during class. Don’t worry—we also hold designated Parent Viewing Weeks throughout the year, giving you the chance to sit back, watch, and celebrate just how far your dancer has come.

Dance uniforms help instill discipline and respect for the art of dance while ensuring students can move safely and comfortably. Proper attire allows teachers to clearly see alignment and muscle use, supporting strong technique, and matching tights and shoes create clean, continuous lines. Our uniforms often form the base of recital costumes, helping keep the under-layer simple for families. We aim to create a safe and inclusive space for all dancers, so please choose the uniform option that feels most comfortable for your child. We’re always happy to discuss how we can best support your dancer’s success.

Pegasus is located in a residential neighbourhood and we want to be respectful to everyone. Families are asked to use permitted street parking on Glebeholme Boulevard and nearby streets, avoid blocking driveways or idling, and help keep traffic flowing smoothly during drop-off and pick-up times. Please be aware of the parking signs and regulations. If you are able to walk or take TTC, we encourage you to do so. Thank you for being courteous to our neighbours and community.

That’s why all four of our studios are fitted with proper dance floors, providing a safer, more comfortable space where dancers can move, grow, and thrive with confidence.

The Pegasus teaching team is made up of experienced, passionate professionals from a wide range of dance backgrounds. Our staff are committed to ongoing education and hold additional certifications through organizations such as YPAD (Youth Protection Advocates in Dance) and High Five, ensuring the highest standards of child safety and wellbeing. All staff members also undergo regular background checks, as well as First Aid and CPR training, so families can feel confident knowing their dancers are learning in a safe, supportive, and professionally led environment.

We carefully select music, dancewear, costumes, and choreography suitable for each age group. This helps children move safely, develop proper technique, and perform with confidence. Choreography matches their physical and creative abilities, and pointe work is only introduced when a dancer’s body is ready, protecting growing muscles and joints. Thoughtful, age-appropriate choices create a positive, encouraging space where young dancers can learn, grow, and enjoy every step.

At Pegasus Studios, our programs guide dancers from babies to graduates, using the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Rambert syllabi to provide a structured, progressive approach. Classes are designed to be inclusive and barrier-free, ensuring every child can participate and develop technique, creativity, and confidence at their own pace. From early movement to advanced training, our curriculum supports a lifelong love of dance and prepares older students for higher study or professional opportunities.

We love welcoming new dancers through the recommendations of our families. When you refer a friend or family member who enrols, both you and the new student receive a tuition credit as a thank-you. It’s our way of saying thanks while helping grow our supportive studio community.

At the Pegasus Childhood Expressions™ program, children enjoy barrier-free, child-led exploration through dance, music, and creative play. Unlike daycare, the program focuses on building confidence, coordination, and self-expression in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Producing a showcase is a big undertaking, and ticket sales play an important role in bringing these special events to life. Funds from ticket sales help cover essential costs, such as theatre and venue hire, professional sound and lighting, stage set-up, music licensing, programs, and front-of-house staffing. They also support our dedicated teaching team, who spend a full year preparing for the showcase, fitting and ordering costumes, and giving their time at the theatre to ensure every performance is polished, safe, and enjoyable for both dancers and audiences.

Costume fees help cover the creation, purchase, or rental of high-quality costumes for each performance. This includes the costume itself, any accessories, as well as necessary alterations and, for rented costumes, professional cleaning. Charging a fee ensures that every dancer has a complete, coordinated outfit, helping the performance look polished and professional while keeping things simple and stress-free for families. Costume fees also allow us to plan and order in advance, so every dancer feels comfortable, confident, and ready to shine on stage.

Yes! We offer an adult ballet class. Silver Swans® ballet classes have been specifically designed for the adult dancer. Whatever your age, if you are looking for a new way to keep fit and active, our ballet classes will put a spring in your step. Whether you’ve never danced before or want to get back into the swing of it, our classes have something for everyone.
