Classes offered for ages 7-12 years
This class equips dancers with techniques to enhance strength, flexibility, and balance while introducing acrobatic skills that integrate into dance choreography. Dancers will build the physical foundation needed to safely execute Acro tricks and elevate their dance technique. This class stands on its own but is also a strong addition to training in ballet, jazz, lyrical, or modern. Acro Jazz complements and enriches each dancer's core program—enhancing choreography with exciting tricks and providing dancers with standout abilities that go beyond traditional technique.
Classes offered for ages 5-18 years
Our art classes find the balance between nurturing the young artist and challenging them. Students explore a variety of art mediums including but not limited to watercolour, sketching, sculpting, painting and pastels.
Classes offered for ages 3-18 years
The Pegasus Ballet Program introduces young dancers to the grace and discipline of classical ballet in a nurturing, imaginative environment. Through music, songs, and rhymes, our youngest dancers build confidence, coordination, and foundational motor skills—all while discovering the joy of movement. These creative and concept-driven classes spark a love of dance that can last a lifetime.
Rooted in the internationally respected Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus, the Pegasus Ballet Program offers a progressive training structure with developmentally appropriate technique at each stage. As dancers grow, the program evolves to emphasize classical technique, musicality, and artistry. Pegasus trains dancers up to and including the RAD Advanced 2 level.
Examinations are offered to select classes based on level, readiness, and instructor recommendation.
This program is for ages 2.5-4 years
Our twice-a-week program offers a rich blend of music, movement, and visual art, thoughtfully woven together with dramatic play and nature exploration. Each element is connected through storytelling—both oral and literary—creating an immersive, imaginative experience that supports creativity, self-expression, and a love of learning.
At Pegasus Dance Studios we believe that every child should have the opportunity to make positive connections through the arts. Dance with Heart extends our mission of supporting more families in our community through arts education. The Dance with Heart classes are taught by a certified Rhythm Works instructor, a certified Rhythm Works assistant, and teen volunteers from our STEPP program, who assist the children with special needs. Classes offered for ages 0-4 years
(Tiny Toes & Little Wigglers)
A once-a-week parent/caregiver and child music and movement class that has been designed to meet the developmental needs of the young child. Through song, story, rhyme, and play, children and their caregivers will explore the many elements of music and dance. Nannies and grandparents are welcome!
Classes offered for ages 5-18 years
A high energy form of dance that evolved from Break dancing and encompasses street-style movements, also known as Urban Dance. Introducing the style of Hip Hop helps improve coordination and helps young dancers identify and move to the beat of the music and have fun!
Classes offered for ages 5-18 years
Our Tap and Jazz classes spark energy, enthusiasm, and a true love for dance, all while building a strong technical foundation. Tap develops rhythm, musicality, and coordination by training dancers to use their feet as percussive instruments. Jazz focuses on dynamic movement and clean technique, paired with fun, expressive choreography. Together, these styles create a well-rounded, versatile dancer ready to shine on stage.
Classes offered for ages 11-18 years
Lyrical dance blends the foundational techniques of ballet, modern, and jazz, with a focus on musical expression and emotional storytelling. This style reflects current trends in the dance community, offering dancers a contemporary and expressive outlet grounded in strong technical training.
Classes offered for ages 4-18 years
Students will explore creative movement through improvisation while gaining essential foundations in modern dance technique. This program merges technical skills with artistic exploration, helping dancers develop performance dynamics, choreographic abilities, and improvisational confidence.
Examinations are offered through the Rambert Grades to select classes based on level, readiness, and instructor recommendation.
This program is for 3 year olds
This class introduces children to the world of rhythm, sound, and movement, blending dance, percussion, and musical play. Through exploration and improvisation, children will discover how to communicate through movement, developing skills in rhythm, patterning, and body control.
As they engage with music and dance, they’ll enhance their awareness of time, space, and energy, while building confidence and coordination. This class sparks creativity and encourages young dancers to express themselves through movement in a joyful, imaginative environment.
Classes offered for ages 7-18 years
A vibrant fusion of acting, singing, and dancing, our Musical Theatre program introduces students to the exciting world of performance. Through a dynamic, age-appropriate curriculum, students will explore the fundamentals of Musical Theatre, engaging in singing, movement, and imaginative play. This class encourages creativity, self-expression, and teamwork while laying the foundation for future performers.
This program is for Adults
Silver Swans ballet is an inclusive program designed for adult learners of all levels, fostering both physical and mental wellbeing through the joy of movement, dance, and ballet. Developed with the needs and preferences of older dancers in mind, the program offers a welcoming and supportive environment for all.
The pointe program begins at age 11
Pointe work is introduced in the ballet stream at an advanced level and the curriculum takes a pre-professional approach to training young dancers with a focus on health and safety.

$110 + HST per month
$125 + HST per month
$145 + HST per month

• Registration fee: $55 + HST once per school year is required at the time of enrolment and is non-refundable.
• Costume fees: Price will be posted in September. 50% deposit will be paid on November 1, 2026. 50% balance will be paid on February 1, 2027.
• Dancewear: We have class uniforms for our dance classes. The cost of the uniform will depend on where you choose to shop.
• Showcase tickets: Costs vary from Junior to Senior showcase. Number of tickets is optional.
• Optional Showcase costs: Photos, videos, and flowers.
We believe our studio can be a second home where children grow, create, and belong through the arts.
