Pegasus Dance Studios began in 1986 when founder Jane and her mother Lynda turned their love of dance, art, and teaching into a creative, welcoming space for all. What started in Jane’s living room quickly grew into a beloved community hub. From our first location on Queen Street to our current home on Glebeholme Boulevard, Pegasus has evolved with its dancers—adding new styles, programs, and opportunities along the way. Today, Jane continues to guide the studio as Artistic Director, supported by her daughters, Lara, Briar, and Lia, along with Carolyn Pratley, who now co-lead the studio’s next chapter.

Our staff come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, but all share one important thing in common: they are qualified dance educators. Each member of our team holds recognized certifications, degrees, or accreditations in dance or dance education—ensuring that your child is learning from trained professionals.
